Spot clean only, and do it from inside out. If you stain the outside of top, hand wash spot clean only. Machine washing, especially on high temp, will remove and fade out the foil paint on top. If you MUST machine wash, wash it on cold water gentle cycle with top turned inside out only. Air dry, or dry on cold. No warm or hot water or warm or hot dryer.
